DO YOU BELIEVE IN ANARCHY AS CRASS SEE IT: PEACE, FREEDOM, ETC.?

I don’t believe in anything other than myself and what I can achieve. I don’t like the term “anarchy”-it’s a label, a classification with ambiguous meaning. I agree with much of what Crass say though.

DO YOU THINK A STATE OF ANARCHY SHOULD BE ABOUT VIOLENT REVOLUTION, PEACEFUL SELF-CHANGE, OR WHATEVER?

Definitely a combination of people rejecting values they do not believe in and gradual non-violent revolution (eg. Factory takeovers, graffiti, etc.) What I’ve not yet managed to reconcile yet is what is to be done when troops start shooting people down in the street. That will be when the concept of peaceful revolution is really put to the test.

WHY DO YOU PUBLICISE C.N.D WHEN HIGH SUBSCRIPTIONS HAVE TO BE PAID, IT IS HIERACHY, AND IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR PEOPLE TO ORAGANISE AMONGST THEMSELVES AND TAKE THE POWER AWAY FROM UNDERNEATH...?

I agree totally with what you say about C.N.D. It worries me that people such as the Catholic turd Bruce Kent are in high positions. However, I support C.N.D. for the simple reason that they are in a sufficiently strong position to try and reach lots of people with a wide circulation of leaflets etc. and T.V. appearances. They can at least provide a mainstream alternative to all the shit the government spins people. The shift from underneath of which you talked would be great if it were to happen as it would represent finally taking responsibility away from leaders.

DO YOU ADVOCATE DIRECT ACTION?
It can sometimes be good for publicity. However, it’s mainly stuff like the Animal Liberation Front have done which has any real effect.

WOULD YOU OFFER YOUR SUPPORT TO ANY LINES OF THOUGHT SUCH AS PACIFISM, FEMINISM, ETC.?
I don’t really like to get caught in a cobweb of labels like that although I would say I agree with certain facets of all of these lines of thought. I would agree with the values that “anarchy represents.

A WEIRD QUESTION-WOULD YOU RATHER 1,000 PEOPLE DIE IN SOME FARAWAY LAND OR YOU DIE?
You’re right it is a weird question-However; I think I’d rather live myself. This is because at the moment I am in hospital fighting for my life against a tumour in my lungs-so I know my urge to live really is, know what I mean?
