the band
Standing alone in the anarcho scene like diseased lepers, the perverse ramblings of Rudimentary Peni remain an enigma to this day; the band still shrouded in mystery, primarily due to their reluctance to perform live, their early thrashing works universally adored by punks around the world yet much of their later, more experimental output sailing straight over the same spiky heads and careening wildly off into the distant cosmos. A punk band? Yes ponders bassist - Grant Matthews on where they might fit into the grand Scheme of things, if one tried hard enough to bludgeon them into a particular pigeonhole.
